One Crazy Week

We made it.  The girls and had cheer camp this week.  They both had so much fun!!!  My mom also had back surgery.  She is a amazing women and very brave!  I am very happy to say that the surgery was a complete success and she is feeling much better.  She should be able to go home tomorrow.  It is also that time of year that we get to haul in the hay at my parents house.  Baylie and Georgia get to ride on the hay wagon and count the bales of hay while wonderful volunteer's buck bales of hay onto the wagon.  It is a blast but lots of hard work for Grandpa.  Grandma is sad because she usually bales the hay, but this year she is laid up. Thank you to everyone who has called and showed their love and concern for my mom, she really appreciates it!

IT'S A MOOSE

We got a call this afternoon from our neighbor that there was a moose in our field.  How cool is that!

Good thing it never happens!

We just returned from a wonderful family trip to Disneyland. We loved it!!! Who would have guessed that Georgia would love the thrill rides.  She was very upset when they would not let her on the California Scream roller coaster.  Baylie was as cute as can be.  She was actually excited to see one character Sully from Monsters Inc.  It was refreshing, because the last time we went and she was 4 she wanted nothing to do with the characters.  Denise was able to surprise the girls and spent the last 3 days of our vacation with us.  Now we are home and resting from our vacation.  If you call a mountain of laundry, planting flowers and working on the yard, grocery shopping and several other things that needed to be done, done.  But as of today we are back to normal.  There is truly no place like home!!!!!

End of School Year Class Plays

In both of the girls classes they decided to put on plays. Georgia’s was about Tacky the Penguin. She was apparently a penguin hunter (the cutest one I ever saw), but the penguins got the best of them. Bayllie’s was a cute little skit about a computer problem with windows. What was fun about it is the computer terms, like windows, money and office were used, but the person calling for computer help did not understand that these were computer programs. I think you had to be there, they both did a very good job!! We love you girls!

TOO BAD GEORGIA'S HAT COVERED HER CUTE FACE!!!!

FUN DAY AT THE ZOO

Yesterday I was able to go to Georgia's 1st Grade Field Trip to the zoo.  We had a blast and really enjoyed seeing the animals and being with her class friends.  Georgia's favorite animal was the monkey's.   I wonder why considering she is our Curious Georgia!!!

STARTING THE ADOPTION PROCESS

We are in the beginning stages of adopting a new child into our family...
It is quite the process. Last week we met with L.D.S. Family services, got finger printed, filled out paper work for our background check, got medical paperwork, wrote a family letter to prospective birth mothers, and broke it to our kids.
